Your Professional Roof Contractor

Beware of Low Roofing Bids from the “Storm Chasers”

Your roof is perhaps the most important part of your home. We realize that this is a significant investment to keep your home safe from the elements. Through your roof’s lifetime, it experiences extreme temperature changes from day to night, rain to snow, and hail to the wind. It’s easy to forego roof maintenance. If neglected your roof’s lifespan could be cut short. Then you may find yourself having to repair or replace it sooner than necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

All too often, roof system problems are discovered after leaking or other serious damage occurs. cracked, warped or missing shingles; loose seams and deteriorated flashings; excessive surface granules accumulating in the gutters or downspouts are other visible signs of roof system problems. Interior indicators for roof system problems could be cracked paint, discolored plasterboard and peeling wallpaper as signs of damaged roof areas.

Most new roof systems are designed to provide useful service for about 20 years. Some roof system types, such as slate, clay tile and certain metal (e.g., copper) systems, can last longer.

We offer architectural asphalt shingles from Malarkey Roofing, specifically their Highlander NEX series as well as their Vista, Legacy and Windsor series. All shingle lines are architectural shingles fortified with sustainable NEX® polymer modified asphalt technology for enhanced granule adhesion and extreme weather protection, including Class 3 impact resistance. These products offer optional security against algae staining. They also come in a range of colors to fit any style of home.

The price of a new roof system varies widely, depending on such things as the materials selected, the size of the building, scope of work, local labor rates and time of year.
